A noontime benefit concert for people affected by increased ICE activity in Minnesota got an extra push when talk began of Bruce Springsteen making an appearance
Wednesday afternoon, Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello announced a benefit concert happening two days later, Friday, at First Avenue. All proceeds will go to the families of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, who were both shot and killed by federal agents in Minneapolis.
Morello, best known as the guitarist from Rage Against the Machine, also confirmed this last-minute benefit concert on Wednesday. Other performers scheduled to appear at First Avenue in Minneapolis were Rise Against, Al Di Meola and Ike Reilly.
A viral Facebook post claimed that Bruce Springsteen was allegedly booed offstage in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
