George Springer, who was World Series MVP in the Astros' 2017 championship season, showed up early to get treatment so he could play in Game 4, but he was left out of the starting lineup.

The star designated hitter/outfielder was injured in Game 3 of the World Series, and his status for Game 4 was revealed.

The Toronto Blue Jays do not seem likely to remove designated hitter George Springer from their World Series roster after he exited Game 3 with a side injury Monday. Removing Springer from the roster would rule him out for the rest of the series.
