Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has asserted that ideology, rather than government schemes or financial incentives, drives voting patterns in the state. He noted that no matter how much money is offered, be it Rs 10,000 or Rs 1 lakh, a Muslim voter would never choose him as their candidate.
