January 17, 1971: Super Bowl V would be a bittersweet day for Johnny Unitas. The hall of fame quarterback would throw a 75 yard touchdown pass to tight end John Mackey. However, Unitas was knocked out of the game after taking a vicious hit to the ribs from Cowboys linebacker Lee Roy Jordan. Unitas was replaced by Earl Morrall.
