The De Havilland Vampire was a British jet fighter and the second-ever operational jet aircraft used by the Royal Air Force (RAF), following the Gloster Meteor. The Vampire was designed by De Havilland, a well-known British aerospace company. It featured a twin-boom tail design with a central fuselage.
