Several dogs are currently in the Washington State Department of Corrections' Washington State Penitentiary dog training program learning basic commands. Programs such as these offer incarcerated individuals the opportunity to self-improve through growing and expanding their skills and abilities. Additionally, it helps to avoid idleness within the facility, which leads to safer facility operations. G
