COWLITZ RIVER AT RANDLE: Here's a look at flooding from the Cowlitz River at Randle a short time ago. This is at the intersection of U.S. Highway 12 and state Route 131. The Cowlitz is close to its first crest of the flooding event, reaching major flood stage above 22 feet. It is expected to recede slightly before rising to major flood stage once more this afternoon and into Wednesday. It is predicted to stay at those levels through Friday. More coverage to come.
