Stunning drone video is giving us a rare close-up of an endangered orca population off the coast of Washington state. The video shows the killer whale pod swimming together in the Salish Sea. Scientists reported seeing a new whale calf swimming with one of the family groups in the pod while they were collecting samples.

Washington state is under a state of emergency after days of torrential rain caused rivers rise to historic levels, raging out of their banks. With several water rescues already underway, over 100,000 Americans face flood evacuations. Trevor Ault reports.
